Lanny Jay Beach, 82, former executive vice president and director of Union Bank, Kokomo, passed away on Oct. 21, 2023. He started working at the bank in 1967, first as auditor, then controller, before being named executive vice president and director.
The Indiana Bankers Association operates under the guidance of the Association’s Board of Directors. Acting as the governing body of the IBA, the Board consists of 17 members: three elected officers, one past chairman, the association president/CEO, two representatives of national associations, the Future Leadership Division president, a non-Indiana headquartered bank director and eight regional and at-large directors.

Centier Bank, Merrillville, donated $37,500 to community groups in the fall of 2023. The bank contributed $25,000 to Housing Opportunities, Inc., a community-sustained nonprofit that resolves and prevents homelessness for adults, children and seniors in Porter and LaPorte counties.
