Evan Hoffmeyer has been promoted to vice president – communications for the Indiana Bankers Association, effective Jan. 1. He joined the Association in August 2022 as assistant vice president – communications. Hoffmeyer is responsible for all the IBA’s print and digital communications, as well as media relations. He has four years of experience in association management after 12 years as a local journalist. Hoffmeyer co-chairs the government affairs committee of the Indiana Society of Association Executives and is a past officer of the alumni association board of directors for the University of the Ozarks, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He also has a master’s degree from Ball State University and is certified in association digital marketing.
