Keep Those Business Deposits Tied to Your Bank

Commercial demand deposit accounts are an integral part of a bank’s deposit portfolio. They are less likely to move from bank to bank due to the various ancillary products tied to the accounts. One of the most viable ways to create a more “sticky” deposit relationship is through the offering of a quality merchant services product.

A huge amount of a business’ revenue comes in the form of card payments. Those businesses need a product they can rely on and customer service representatives who respond in a timely manner. When working with just one processor, a bank is limited to only the benefits of that sole provider. Often the bank’s merchant services program is an afterthought. However, to your small business customer, it is a crucial service to their survival. Your bank needs quality merchant services available for your customer, with the product and service they have come to expect from being your bank customer.
