Congratulations to the following employees of the Indiana Bankers Association, who have reached milestone anniversaries. They will be recognized at a staff holiday party in December.
Christina M. Bennett, CMP, vice president-meetings & events, celebrated 35 years of service. She is responsible for the largest events of the Indiana Bankers Association, including the Mega Conference, Annual Convention, FLD Leadership Conference and Legislative Reception. She also serves as secretary to the IBA Board of Directors and as primary contact for the CEO peer discussion groups and roundtable meetings. Bennett is president of Meeting Professionals International’s Indiana chapter, Holiday Giving Chair at St. Vincent de Paul and a member of the American Society of Association Executives. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, the Certified Meeting Professional designation from the Events Industry Council and a certificate in association digital marketing from Association Academy.
Tracy Kubly, technology manager, celebrated her 25th anniversary with the IBA this year. She joined the Association in 2000 as a receptionist. She was promoted into the accounting area in 2007, was named IT and facilities manager in 2010, and was named technology manager in 2017. Kubly is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the IBA’s information systems, including the computer network and telephone system, and also is responsible for technological support of the IBA website and staff. Prior to joining the IBA, Kubly served as office manager for a homebuilder in Indianapolis. She earned an associate degree from the University of Phoenix.
Timothy Fry, staff accountant, marked 15 years with the IBA this year. His responsibilities include recording all financial transactions for the IBA and its subsidiaries, plus streamlining accounting operations. Fry has an extensive accounting background in a variety of industries, including the CPA field, the hospital-based health and fitness industry, benefit brokering and banking; he previously worked in the credit card division for First Chicago and as an accountant for Flat Top Grill, a Chicago-based restaurant chain. He is a graduate of Elmhurst College and a member of the financial board of trustees of the Catch the Stars Foundation.
