Kevin Hart has joined the board of directors for Crossroads Bank, Wabash. He has practiced interventional radiology since 1997 and serves on the Parkview Heart Institute Operating Council, where he helps with strategic and operational issues. Dr. Hart said he appreciates the role independent community banks serve and credits his success in farmland investing to the personal nature of community banking. He earned his bachelor’s degree, medical degree and an MBA from Indiana University, plus a certificate from the Harvard Business Analytics Program.

Gina Hermann has joined the board of directors for First Federal Savings Bank, Evansville. She is the human resources director at Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline in Owensboro, Kentucky, with experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, DEI, mergers and acquisitions, corporate social responsibility, organization development and more. Hermann holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA.

Matt Jackson joined the board of directors for The Farmers Bank, Frankfort, in May. He is president and founder of Jackson Investment Group and has nearly 20 years of commercial real estate experience with a focus in the medical, industrial, office and healthcare fields. Jackson is involved with numerous local organizations in Boone and Marion counties, including the Boone County Property Tax Assessment Board of Appeals, Lebanon Youth Baseball, Western Boone Youth Baseball, Western Boone Youth Football, Dynamic Minds Institute’s Board of Directors and the Boone County Economic Development Corporation. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.

James Khan joined the board of directors for The Bippus State Bank, Huntington, in April upon the retirement of Matt Wilcox, who had served on the board since May 2011. Khan is president and proprietor of BakerStreet Steakhouse, Proximo and The Hoppy Gnome in Fort Wayne, and engages in business consulting, planning, sales, management and development.

Phil Rawley joined the board of directors for First Federal Savings Bank, Evansville. He is CEO of Tri-State Orthopedics and brings experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, long- and short-term financial planning, business valuation and international FX trading. Rawley earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Southern Indiana.

Mark Thompson joined the board of directors for Farmers State Bank, LaGrange, and its holding company, FS Bancorp, effective May 8. He is a retired senior vice president of the bank with more than 40 years in banking, the last 28 of which were at Farmers State Bank. Thompson earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana Tech.
