The Farmers Bank, Frankfort, officially broke ground on its newest Noblesville branch in July. The location will become the bank’s 12th full-service banking center and second in Noblesville. The 2,866-square-foot, single-story building will feature the state’s second Smartflower, a dynamic solar-powered energy system that adjusts to track the sun in order to support the building’s energy needs. The branch is expected to open in the second quarter of 2026.
Bank leaders were joined by Mayor Chris Jensen and other local elected officials, community members and the bank’s board of directors for the July 8 groundbreaking of the bank’s second Noblesville location at IN-32 and Hazel Dell Road.
One week after the Noblesville groundbreaking, The Farmers Bank cut the ribbon on its renovated headquarters and financial center in Frankfort. The project represented the bank’s most significant investment and renovation in its 149-year history. More than 200 community members, former and retired employees, local government officials and civic leaders attended the event. They were then invited inside to tour several floors and enjoy refreshments provided by local vendors Angry Donkey, Shoup’s Country Foods, Slabby’s, Glover’s Ice Cream and Barb Gerald’s Cookies.


First Farmers Bank & Trust Co., Converse, cut the ribbon on its newest branch in Lebanon. The new banking center is the bank’s 37th in Indiana and eastern Illinois. It features artwork by local artist Anita Gordon as a symbol of the bank’s commitment to supporting local culture and community initiatives.

Lake City Bank, Warsaw, in July, acquired a property at 6388 Mills Dr. in Whitestown. The bank will renovate the existing structure into a full-service branch, expected to open next year. The acquisition marks an expansion of the bank’s footprint into Boone County and its 10th office in the Indianapolis region. Work will begin later this year.
Logansport Savings Bank broke ground on a new Peru branch on May 30. The full-service branch will be located at 851 N. Broadway, expanding the bank’s footprint in Miami County. Designed by IBA Preferred Service Provider K4 Architecture + Design, the 2,700-square-foot, single-story building will include two drive-through lanes, a drive-up ATM that accepts deposits and private offices for consultations. The branch is expected to open in the first quarter of 2026.

Riddell National Bank, Brazil, purchased another bank’s former branch in Rockville and announced in July plans to re-open it as part of Riddell early next year. This marks the bank’s first branch in Parke County in its 140-year history.
