Centier Bank, Merrillville, cut the ribbon on two branches in the final quarter of 2024 – a relocated and expanded Carmel branch at 650 E. Carmel Dr. in November and a new Brownsburg branch at 1000 E. Main St. in December. The Carmel relocation included a comprehensive renovation of the nearly 8,900-square-foot first floor plus exterior enhancements. As part of the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the bank donated $5,000 to the Carmel Education Foundation, which works with Carmel school leaders to align programming and grants with district goals and learning objectives. The Brownsburg branch marked the bank’s ninth banking center in central Indiana and first in Hendricks County. In honor of the occasion, the bank donated $5,000 to Sheltering Wings, an area shelter that provides emergency housing and essential life skills programming for survivors escaping domestic abuse.
