Centier Bank, Merrillville, opened a new branch at 1313 W. 86th St. in Indianapolis. It was the second branch the bank has opened in Indianapolis this year, with plans to open another two in the greater Indianapolis area before the year is up. In addition to the traditional customer service facilities, this 6,000-square-foot branch will also accommodate an associate training center.
Lake City Bank, Warsaw, opened a branch at 1361 S. Rangeline Rd. in Carmel on July 22. The banking center marks the bank’s 54th office in Indiana and its 8th in the bank’s Indianapolis region. In addition to serving the public, the new branch has a dedicated training center for bank employees to complete professional development courses provided by the bank’s training department, Lake City University. The banking center will be managed by Ashley G. Bridges, who relocated from the bank’s Indianapolis North office. She has been with the bank for nine years and grew up in Carmel.
Van Wert Federal Savings Bank, Van Wert, Ohio, has opened a branch in Fort Wayne and officially changed their name to GreenWay Bank, effective Aug. 1. Located at 202 W. Berry St., Ste. 100, their downtown Fort Wayne branch will offer business services including business checking account options and loans for real estate, construction, equipment, SBA and more. The name GreenWay was chosen to reflect a growth-oriented, future-focused approach as “green” represents growth, and “way” suggests a path forward.
