Kelly Blieden has joined the bank as vice president, trust officer with two decades of marketing and banking experience. Most recently, she served as vice president, private banker at another local banking institution.

Jen Pack has been promoted to vice president, mortgage lending. She has been with the bank as a mortgage loan officer for 11 years.

Nate Fansher has been promoted to executive vice president, chief credit officer and chief lending officer. He joined the bank in 2007 as a credit analyst, advancing to be credit officer, commercial loan operations manager, vice president of commercial loan operations and senior vice president of credit administration. Fansher serves on the boards of Visit Wabash County, the Wabash County Museum and the Title Center of Indiana LLC – a preferred service provider of the IBA. He also participates in the Economic Vitality Committee of Downtown Wabash Inc.

Stacy Wiley has joined the bank as vice president, chief financial officer. She has both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Purdue University-Fort Wayne, plus a tax agent certification.
Farmers & Merchants Bank / Boswell

Donald J. Blume has been promoted to president of the bank. He joined the bank in 2017, most recently serving as executive vice president, chief lending officer. Blume has worked in banking overall for 28 years. He is a member of the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, a mentor with the Purdue University Daniels School of Business, on leadership teams at Calvary Church, volunteers with Junior Achievement, is a coach with the Greater Lafayette Recreational Soccer Alliance, a Scouting of America cub scout leader, and board member with The Training Grounds Inc. Blume earned his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, completed the Wells Fargo Commercial Lending School and Leadership Lafayette program, and holds the Indiana Real Estate Broker License as well as Series 7, 66, life and health licenses.

Sara Weber has been promoted to vice president, mortgage loan originator. She started with the bank as a teller in 2012, working her way up to assistant branch manager, branch manager, loan officer and mortgage loan originator. Weber serves on the board of the Benton Community Foundation. She graduated from Purdue University.

Nancy Little has been promoted to assistant vice president, loan operations manager. She has spent her entire career so far with the bank, starting in 2013, most recently serving as senior loan processor.

Emily Current has been promoted to branch manager. She started with the bank as a customer service representative after time as a credit analyst intern. Current volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Seed Sowers of Warren County and Tri Kappa of Attica Delta Theta Chapter. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.

Kristina D. Schmidt has been promoted to assistant vice president, banking center manager. She has been with the bank since starting her career in banking three years ago. Schmidt earned an associate degree from Henderson (Kentucky) Community College.
German American Bank / Jasper

Bradley C. Arnett has been promoted to executive vice president, chief legal officer and corporate secretary. Before joining the bank, he practiced law for more than two decades, including time at Dentons, an IBA associate member. Arnett has been recognized by the Best Lawyers in America in the areas of banking and finance, financial services regulation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University, a juris doctorate from the Chase College of Law, and holds a Certified Public Accounting license in Ohio.
Horizon Bank / Michigan City

Kimberly Boocher joined the bank as vice president, mortgage sales manager. She has 17 years of experience ranging from underwriting and loan origination to sales leadership and operations management. Boocher is actively involved with the American Heart Association, chairing Go Red for Women events to raise awareness about heart disease, particularly among women.

Stacey Stephens joined the bank as vice president, senior commercial loan officer. Outside the bank, she is immediate past president of the Lakeshore Rotary Club, secretary of Great Lakes Commercial Finance and a member of the Berrien Community Foundation’s Women’s Giving Circle. Stephens earned a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University and an MBA from Indiana University – South Bend.

Peggy S. Genshaw joined the bank as mortgage loan originator with more than 35 years of experience, including 22 as a mortgage loan officer. She serves as board president of the Syracuse-Wawasee Historical Museum, a member of the Kosciusko Board of REALTORS®, a mentor and big sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana, a Women Build volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and a member of the Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce.

Andrew “Drew” LeRette has joined the bank as vice president, commercial relationship manager with nearly 25 years of commercial banking experience in lending, financial analysis, risk management and credit structure. He serves on the board for the Salvation Army and is involved with the Carmel Rotary. LeRette earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree from Indiana University.
Lake City Bank / Warsaw

Stephanie R. Leniski has been promoted to executive vice president, chief retail banking officer. Her three-decade career in banking started as a teller in 1995. She joined Lake City in 2002 as vice president, branch manager; working her way up to retail banking manager of the bank’s north region; senior vice president, retail banking manager; and head of the retail banking division. Leniski serves on the IBA’s Retail Banking Committee, secretary of the ETHOS Innovation Center board, and treasurer on the Bridges of Michiana Inc. board. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s College and graduated from the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

Melanie L. Farr has joined the bank as senior vice president, chief fiduciary officer. She started working in trust administration in 2023 after 25 years of practicing law at a firm in Fort Wayne. Farr is a member of the Indiana, Ohio and Allen County bar associations, and is a past president of the Allen County Bar Association. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Defiance College and a juris doctorate from the University of Toledo College of Law.

Carrie A. Gutman has been promoted to senior vice president, chief wealth advisory officer. With the promotion, she will join the bank’s management committee. Gutman began her career in trust administration in 2016 after practicing general civil law, including the area of trust and estate law, for 20 years at a firm in Fort Wayne. She is a member of the Indiana State and Allen County bar associations, serves as vice president of the Allen County Board of Parks and Recreation, is a board member of STARBASE of Indiana and treasurer of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Gutman earned two bachelor’s degrees at Indiana University and a juris doctorate from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

Drew T. McMonigle has joined the bank as senior vice president, chief technology officer with 20 years of experience in financial services. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College, studied in the management information systems program at the University of Texas – Dallas and holds the Certified Product Manager designation.

Chad J. Clinton has been promoted to vice president, mortgage portfolio underwriter. He has been with the bank for five years. Clinton volunteers with Junior Achievement of Central Indiana and coaches baseball and basketball for Mudsock Youth Athletics. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.

Susan R. McClanahan has been promoted to vice president, home equity manager. She has been with the bank for 26 years. McClanahan volunteers with Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana.

Katie G. Schmidt has joined the bank as assistant vice president, corporate and institutional services sales officer. She has 12 years of experience in financial services. Schmidt serves on the board of directors and programs committee for Junior Achievement of Elkhart County and is an ambassador with the Goshen Chamber of Commerce. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.

Jessica L. Slone has been promoted to assistant vice president, retail banking officer. She has been with the bank for six years. Slone is on the fundraising committee for Joe’s Kids and volunteers with Junior Achievement, Kate’s Kart, North Webster Church of God and American Red Cross blood drives.

Lindsey Turner has been promoted to vice president, Treasury management officer, branch manager. She joined the bank in 2020.

Annette Morris has been promoted to senior staff accountant. Since joining the bank in 2022, she has also served as internal auditor, BSA officer, security officer and compliance officer.

Sharla Osuna-Rios joined the bank as community development officer. She has 12 years of experience in banking and more than a decade of community development work. Osuna-Rios serves as vice president of the Indianapolis chapter of the National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America’s board of directors, a member of the board for the Fay Biccard Glick Community Center and West Indianapolis Development Corporation, and a member of the Central Indiana Realtist Association.
STAR Bank / Fort Wayne

Trevor Smith will be promoted to president of the bank’s Columbia City market effective May 1 as his predecessor, David Smith, retires April 30. Trevor joined the bank’s commercial team in May 2023. He co-founded and serves as chief financial officer for Team Focus Basketball, a developmental AAU basketball program serving Fort Wayne and nearby areas. Trevor also volunteers with the Salvation Army and Hope’s Harbor. He earned his associate degree and a bank management certificate from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.

J. Craig Buse was promoted to president & CEO effective Jan. 1 upon the retirement of Jamie R. Shinabarger. He serves on the boards of Radius Indiana, Dubois Strong and the Southwestern Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition. Buse earned both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Capella University, completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Dubois County Leadership Academy, and was awarded the Rising Star award from the Independent Community Bankers of America in 2009.
