Logansport Savings Bank celebrates its 100th anniversary in March. Originally established as the Logansport Building and Loan Association on March 31, 1925, the institution has since grown into a full-service community bank offering retail and commercial banking across the north-central Indiana region. A variety of events and activities will be held over the course of the year to mark the occasion. The bank is also currently renovating and expanding its campus in downtown Logansport and plans to open a second branch in Peru – both expected to be completed by the end of its centennial year. It is estimated that less than one-half of 1% of all U.S. businesses survive to their centennial anniversary.
