Bath State Bank celebrated its centennial anniversary in June with bank staff and more than 1,000 customers at a local fairground. A 1924 Studebaker Light Six Roadster, owned by a long-time customer, was featured at the entrance to the event that featured a hot meal picnic, ice cream truck, band and children’s activities. Bank staff gave bank-branded campfire mugs and Christmas ornaments signifying 100 years of service to the community. The bank also hosted Open House events on its founding date of June 24. In celebration of the historic event, staff volunteered to spruce up a local playground as well as repaint and repair a local courthouse gazebo.
