Cindy Konich retired from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, effective Sept. 30. The bank’s Board of Directors named Brendan McGrath as its new president and CEO, effective Oct. 1.

First Financial Bank, Cincinnati, announced two acquisition agreements over the summer. In June, the bank entered into an agreement to acquire Westfield Bancorp, the holding company of Westfield Bank FSB, Westfield Center, Ohio, in a cash and stock transaction valued at $325 million. Westfield has $2.2 billion in assets, growing First Financial to $20.6 billion.

Haberfield / Lincoln, NE Sean Payant, Ph.D., has been promoted to president of the company. He began as a consultant with the company in 2007, rising through the ranks, most recently serving as senior executive vice president, chief strategy officer.
